The Horned King's Conquest

he Horned King, an evil tyrant whose only wish is to rule over all of creation with an iron fist. For years he sought an object, known as The Black Cauldron. An instrument of great and terrible power. With its ultimate dark power he would create an army of the undead to wash over the world and bring everything under his control. However, upon discovering the existence of other worlds, and the heartless, his ambitions took on a new sense of grandeur. Having uncovered the Cauldron, he has used its power to change the very nature of the heartless themselves. These new heartless, emblem heartless bearing the emblem of the Horned King (see below) are known as Cauldonborn Heartless. They do the evil king's will in all things, bringing worlds under his domination, and stealing the hearts of those who do not give in to his malevolent wishes.

Players may manifest Heartless bearing the Cauldronborn Emblem in any world bearing this mark on it's board listing. As the story progresses, these Emblems will be found on different boards, and may be involved in different quests. Cauldronborn Heartless often resemble heartless of an existing type of Emblem Heartless, but with horned or skull-like features. The most common type of Cauldronborn Heartless are Dread Knights, who resemble typical Knight heartless, with a helmet shaped like a skull bearing twisted black horns.
