Overview: Munny

Here on Chained Worlds, we have a very dynamic system for acquiring and purchasing items with Munny that is accumulated as posts are made in any one of the roleplay boards. At the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, you'll see a toolbar with 4-5 icons on it. I will go over here what each of those icons is and how they are used, but first, you'll want to know how to earn Munny. Earning munny is easy; just make in-character posts. Munny is awarded automatically in the following fashion:

• New Thread: 30 Munny
• Each Full Reply: 20 Munny

This Munny is immediately available to you. No need to finish the thread to reap the rewards. Your Munny will be displayed in your profile and mini-profile.

Munny Shop
This is the Icon for the Munny Shop. Clicking this button will take you to a standalone page where you can use the Munny you have earned to buy items. The Items purchased here will deplete your Munny, as you might expect, and the Item icon will appear in your profile and mini-profile. Hovering over the item will display how many of that item you currently have.

But I digress. In the shop, you can decide quantity, add items to your cart, and check out. Once you have a little bit of Munny, you'll want to swing by and see what's available. The items in this shop will change with time, seasonal items, as well as rare upgrades and things, will come and go, so you'll want to keep an eye on it!

Bank
You can store your Munny in the bank if you have a lot of it. It will actually gather interest as it sits there, so it's not a bad idea to stick some munny in there every once in a while.

Donations
You can donate to other members via their profile. When members have donated to you, you'll find their donations in this button. Donations are free contributions of Munny. There are no refunds or exchanges made in this process, but then, it wouldn't be called a donation if there were.

Gift/Trade Requests
From another player's profile, you can request item trades/send gifts. These requests will show up under this icon. Trades of this nature are handled between characters. Strictly speaking, it's against the rules to trade items between your own characters on the site. But, if we're honest, we don't have much of a way of tracking it. So, that said. We'll trust your better judgment, and at the end of the day, all the items were paid for anyway.

Gifts
The Gift Icon is an icon that will not always be there. This icon will show up on the toolbar when the staff has prepared a gift for you. Sometimes it may be random, other times it will be known to you before hand. This is the only way we staff have to put items into your inventory that you haven't paid for, so when you receive special rewards that need to be put into your inventory, this is likely how we will do it. Keep an eye out for it! you never know when we'll get generous.
