Don't Forget Your Old Shipmate (Namine, Aqua)

Roxas waited patiently through Ventus's explanation of what he saw in Twilight Town, but the thought was generally unsettling. He hadn't noticed anything particularly troubling during his last visit, but then again, it'd been a quick one. He'd stopped off at the clocktower for some ice cream and then bounced, returning to the patrols he frequented throughout the stars. Part of him wanted to blame himself for not looking into things more thoroughly, but he knew better; whatever was going on there wasn't his fault in the slightest. At the end of the day, there would always be a new evil around the corner, and he'd come to terms with that.

Aqua brought up Yen Sid, mentioned some report, but Roxas's mind was elsewhere. He didn't really understand what sigil they were talking about. Brow furrowed, he rose as Naminé stepped away from him, already on the hunt for some paper and a writing utensil. He found what he was looking for just as Naminé made her offer, stowed away in a dusty desk in the room's far corner. After a few seconds of rifling through what appeared to be old shipping manifests, he found a blank piece of parchment and a quill. He grabbed the ink well beside it and a piece of wood that might've been used as a primitive clipboard.

"Hey," he called, lifting his newfound treasures into the air. "I found something. It's sorta old, though."

It didn't take him more than two seconds to cross the room to provide Naminé with the tools she needed in order to illustrate her thoughts.

What took him a bit longer was figuring out what exactly they needed to do. Going to Yen Sid was a good idea, but he wasn't exactly for it. The old man had a ton on his plate already... but what exactly could they do otherwise? Going into a fight blind was never a good idea, and trying to find the source of their new foe would be difficult until he figured out what exactly they were facing.

From the limited info he'd garnered thus far, they were special Heartless, made by another idiot that sought to harvest their dark power. There were plenty of people with such grim machinations out there, and an abundance of short sighted villains with delusions of controlling the darkness.

"So what's our mission then? If they're trying to wreak havoc in Twilight Town, then I don't wanna waste any time. We've gotta stop 'em before they really mess things up. Who's gone missing?"

He thought, privately, of Hayner, Pence, and Olette. Even of Seifer, Fuu, Rai, and poor Vivi, who really didn't deserve any sort of trouble. They were tough on their own, but the Heartless were definitely beyond their power or understanding. He was pretty sure Hayner and Seifer might manage to get a few licks in, and Vivi could handle themselves, but... there were some things that were just out of their realm of expertise.

Looking serious, Roxas waited for Naminé to finish her sketch.
